About Us

Lil’ Bits Family Child Care’s program is operated out of the home of Adrienne Briggs, owner, operator and educator. She is the sole full time practitioner, business and financial manager along with an emergency assistant. The business has been in operation since June 1, 1992 as a Sole Proprietorship. Lil’ Bits Family Child Care Home (Lil’ Bits FCCH) is a high quality early childhood education and care program that has provided child care services for over twenty nine years.

The goals of the program are to help develop the whole child to his/her fullest potential by offering developmentally appropriate learning opportunities. We intend to introduce new experiences in language, literacy, music, art, technology, and science to enhance creativity. We will also help the child develop respect for self, others and their environment, as well as build self help skills.

Lil’ Bits is licensed by the city of Philadelphia, certified with the state of Pennsylvania as a family childcare home. Lil’ Bits FCCH is a privately owned childcare whose mission is to motivate students towards excelling in education, citizenship, and personal achievements through nurturing, age appropriate activities and increased parental involvement. We encourage unity, spirit, loyalty, and cooperation between students, parents, the faculty of Lil’ Bits and its community. Also, we are dedicated to providing quality care and education to the children and their families. Our intent is to help build the whole child. Children are our business and we take our business personal. This is where quality matters.
