More about us

"Education is the most powerful weapon which   you can use to change the world". Nelson Mandela

Our beliefs  are that children learn best through play and being allowed to explore their environment. Children also learn through all of their senses and every experience is a learning opportunity, for the child and the adult. We intend on reaching our goals by giving the children plenty of opportunities to play as well as offering structured activities along with a curriculum. We provide a safe, fun and simulating learning environment for children in their early years, the first five. Ms. Briggs believes in the best of education. She ensures that the children are prepared to receive the best form of education and strives for each and every child that comes under her care. She is a huge advocate for school readiness.

GOAL
Lil' Bits' goal is to provide a safe and stimulating environment for bright and curious children to interact and learn from each other. Providing the highest quality program to educate and entertain children with educational offerings that provide learning opportunities. This program is one in which the potential for learning is open and free to every student to build the whole child (physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and creatively). This creates an emphasis on learning through play for the enrichment and enhancement of the child. This will be achieved by allowing the child to explore and have guided activities promoting learning through all of their senses. Teaching children how to explore, investigate, discover, have self awareness, self-esteem, self regulation, and respect of self and others, ultimately creates a well adjusted adult. Individual differences have to be taken into account, while treating each child equally.

VISION
Lil' Bits' vision is to see children (people) of all cultures come together unified and empowered by sharing the belief that they hold the power to create and shape how they live and grow. This will be accomplished through encouraging parents and teachers to be instruments in the success of student in their pursuit of achievement, consistent with successful academics, behavior, citizenship, and becoming positive contributors to our society.
